Open your phone camera and point it at the sticker. It opens the owner's page.

Say what you found
Tap "found something?", describe the item, and add a note about where it is.

That's it
The owner is notified right away. Leave an email if you'd like to hear back — it's optional.
Questions finders ask
Do I need to download anything or sign up?
No. The page opens in your browser and the message form needs no account.
Will the owner see my phone number or email?
Only if you type it into the optional contact field. If you leave an email, the owner can reply to you through the relay — they still won't see yours unless you share it.
The page says Lost Mode is on. What does that mean?
The owner is actively looking for something. The item, any reward, and how to reach them are at the top of the page.
The code won't scan. What now?
Type the name printed beside the code into the box above, or go to itbelongsto.me/ followed by that name.
Please don’t include anything you wouldn’t want a stranger to read. Messages are screened for spam and abuse before they reach the owner.
