Why an address tag is the wrong tool
A classic luggage tag broadcasts your home address to everyone who walks past your bag — and tells them your home is empty while you're away. Most travel advice now says to leave the address off.

Will airline staff scan it?
Anyone with a phone camera can. The tag also shows the short web address, so someone can type it in if they prefer.
Can the finder see my phone number?
